Diversity & Inclusion

We believe a diverse and inclusive workplace makes us stronger. Our Diversity & Inclusion Strategy supports an environment where people feel respected, valued and able to contribute to their full potential. Through initiatives focused on reconciliation, disability, cultural diversity, LGBTQI+ inclusion, gender equity and workplace wellbeing, we continue to build a culture where everyone can thrive.

Our commitment to gender balance

Building a firm that reflects the diversity of our people, clients and communities.

At Turks, we are committed to creating a workplace that reflects the diversity of our people, our clients and the communities in which we operate. We recognise that achieving gender balance is fundamental to building a high performing, inclusive and sustainable firm.

Our 40:40:20 target will guide our approach to recruitment, promotion and leadership development over the next three years, with a commitment to achieving this balance by 2029. Over that time, we will continue to embed this target into our people processes, supported by transparent reporting and regular review.

We are proud of the progress already made in leadership positions across the firm. As of 1 July 2026, women represent 31% of our partnership and 75% of our Executive and Management Team positions, including CEO. At Special Counsel level, we have achieved balanced representation, with 55% women and 45% men, providing a strong and stable pipeline into partnership. We recognise there is more work to do and remain committed to balanced representation at senior levels across the firm.
