Thomas is a Special Counsel in Turks' Commercial team, based in the Melbourne office.
Thomas acts for clients ranging from major financial institutions, insurers, and insolvency practitioners through to individuals and small businesses. He is known for delivering clear advice and for taking a direct approach to his clients’ legal issues.
His practice focuses on three key areas: business and transaction advisory for private companies, commercial litigation, and corporate insolvency.
Within those practice areas, Thomas’s deep expertise includes sales and purchases of businesses, fundraising, shareholder disputes, and disputes involving land and securities.

Thomas is a member of the Australian Restructuring Insolvency & Turnaround Association, the Australian Institute of Credit Management. Outside of the workplace, he is a member of the Football Victoria Grievance and Disciplinary Tribunal and the Australian Institute of International Affairs.
