Tatijana is a Special Counsel in Turks' Employers Liability and Workplace Relations teams, based in the Sydney office.

Tatijana's legal career commenced specialising in employment and industrial relations law, where she developed a strong grounding in workplace relationships, employment obligations and industrial relations principles. This foundational experience gives her a detailed understanding of workplace conduct, disciplinary processes and the employment issues that commonly underpin conduct-based workers compensation claims.

Tatijana has practical experience advising on matters involving bullying, harassment and performance management. She understands how employment issues interact with workers compensation liability decisions, particularly in claims involving psychological injury where the characterisation of workplace conduct is central to the assessment of reasonable management action.

With in-depth experience gained within a large NSW workers compensation insurer, Tatijana developed strong knowledge of claims management processes, legislation and decision-making requirements. Combined with her employment and industrial relations background, this experience enables her to provide practical, commercially focused advice on liability assessment, workplace conduct issues and claims strategy.
