Sandra is a Partner in Turks’ Life Insurance & Superannuation team, based in the Sydney office.
Sandra specialises in life insurance, superannuation and financial services disputes. She advises life insurers, superannuation trustees and financial institutions on complex claims, disputes and regulatory matters, including policy interpretation, claims management, AFCA complaints and litigation.
She regularly advises on disputed total and permanent disability, income protection, death and trauma claims, including matters involving policy avoidance, non-disclosure and misrepresentation. With extensive experience acting across contentious and advisory matters, Sandra provides strategic and commercially focused advice on issues affecting insurers and trustees. Her experience spans all stages of dispute resolution, from claims assessment and management through to litigation, enabling her to deliver practical solutions to complex legal and operational challenges.
Sandra also brings valuable in-house and secondment experience, giving her a strong understanding of regulatory processes, claims governance and insurer operations.
