Samantha is a Special Counsel in Turks' Commercial team, based in the Sydney office.

Samantha has extensive experience advising banks, insolvency practitioners, insurers and corporate clients on banking litigation, debt recovery, security enforcement, insolvency and commercial disputes. She works across a broad range of recovery and enforcement matters, helping clients navigate financial distress, manage risk and achieve commercially focused outcomes.

Her expertise includes mortgage and security enforcement, asset finance recoveries, winding up and bankruptcy proceedings, insolvency-related disputes and acting for insolvency practitioners in investigations, recoveries and public examinations. Samantha regularly appears in State and Federal Courts across Australia and is experienced in managing complex litigation and dispute resolution matters.

Drawing on secondment experience with a major Australian bank, Samantha has developed a strong understanding of banking operations, asset realisation processes and regulatory obligations. This insight enables her to provide practical advice that aligns legal strategy with commercial and operational objectives.

Clients value Samantha's commercial approach, technical expertise and ability to manage complex recovery, enforcement and insolvency matters efficiently and effectively.

Samantha also plays an active role in developing and mentoring junior lawyers and regularly supports the delivery of client-focused training, legal updates and process improvement initiatives. She has extensive experience supervising teams and implementing best-practice approaches for major banking and financial services clients.
