Rachel is a Senior Associate in Turks’ General Insurance team, based in the Sydney office.
Rachel practises in liability, indemnity and property damage disputes. Her expertise encompasses property recoveries, fraud and investigation matters, disputed indemnity claims, and proceedings arising in commercial and construction contexts, including claims involving statutory authorities.
She acts for major general insurers and self-insured organisations, providing advice from early liability assessment through to litigation, mediation and resolution. Rachel has extensive experience appearing in the Local, District and Supreme Courts of New South Wales and works closely with claims professionals to develop practical approaches that align with commercial objectives.
Her experience includes recovery actions against statutory authorities, including nuisance claims considered in light of recent case law developments. Clients value Rachel's clear advice, strong litigation capability and commercially grounded approach to dispute resolution.
