Lisa is a Partner and leader of Turks' Insolvency & Debt Recovery practice, based in the Sydney office.
Lisa has more than 25 years' experience advising banks, government bodies, insolvency practitioners and corporate clients on debt recovery, commercial litigation, banking disputes, secured and unsecured recoveries, and insolvency law, in which she holds post-graduate qualifications.
Her expertise spans creditor rights enforcement, asset realisation, insolvency litigation, winding up and bankruptcy proceedings, and acting for insolvency practitioners in recovery and investigation matters. Lisa has conducted complex litigation in State and Federal Courts across Australia and routinely represents clients in mediations, settlement conferences and other alternative dispute resolution processes.
Lisa has significant experience in managing large portfolios of work for sophisticated clients and using technology to streamline and manage work and provide valuable insights for her clients. Clients value Lisa's commercial approach, strong litigation capability and ability to navigate complex matters efficiently and effectively.

Lisa plays a pivotal role in our internal training program and regularly authors key client publications and trends reports. She has also been instrumental in the development and implementation of our proprietary litigation management software TurksFocus, which is used by major clients across multiple practice groups.
Lisa is a member of the Australian Restructuring Insolvency & Turnaround Association, the Australian Institute of Credit Management and Women in Banking & Finance. She is currently recognised in Best Lawyers Australia for Insolvency & Reorganisation Law.
