Katie is a Special Counsel in Turks’ Employers Liability team, based in the Newcastle office.
Katie practises in statutory workers compensation and has experience advising on all aspects of claims management, liability and dispute resolution. She specialises in managing both standard and complex litigated matters, with a focus on achieving commercially sound and timely outcomes for her clients.
She acts for scheme agents, self insured corporations and employers, providing practical and strategic advice throughout the lifecycle of claims. Katie regularly appears as an advocate before the Personal Injury Commission and has experience in appellate proceedings.
