Glenn is a Partner in Turks’ General Insurance team, based in the Brisbane office.
Glenn has more than 20 years’ experience in maritime law, commercial disputes and insurance litigation. His expertise encompasses marine and transit claims, liability and professional indemnity matters, cargo and total-loss claims, ship repairers’ liability, subrogated recoveries, customs and import issues, and construction and infrastructure disputes. He also has detailed knowledge of the Carriage of Goods by Sea Act 1991, the Hague-Visby Rules and Australia’s maritime regulatory framework.
He acts for national and international insurers, government clients and major commercial operators across shipping, cruise, ports, infrastructure and freight. Glenn works closely with legal, claims and operational teams on complex, multi-party and cross-border disputes, assisting clients to assess litigation risk, develop settlement strategies and protect recovery rights.
Glenn spent six years practising in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates with an international law firm, where he led the maritime and dispute resolution practices in Doha and Abu Dhabi. His international experience includes construction and infrastructure disputes subject to ICC arbitration, significant maritime casualty matters, marine collisions, total-loss claims and recoveries.

Glenn is currently recognised in Best Lawyers Australia for his expertise in Trade Law. He is also a senior member of the Veterans’ Review Board, a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Notaries, and serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Australian Army Legal Corps (Reserve).
