Declan is a Senior Associate in Turks’ Commercial Property team, based in the Sydney office.
Declan has worked in the legal property sector for over 7 years, where he has advised on large capital market transactions, retail and commercial leasing, developments and other general commercial matters. He works with a diverse range of clients including ASX-listed entities, large corporates, insolvency practitioners, government organisations, private developers, private businesses, REITs, financial institutions and retailers.
His experience spans several facets of multi-jurisdictional property and commercial transactions, including acquisitions and disposals, retail and commercial leasing, development projects, renewable energy, carbon credit arrangements and forestry agreements, mortgages and securities and transaction structuring. He also advises on property matters requiring complex due diligence and structuring.
Declan has worked in several property practices with exposure to a broad client base, where he has developed a diverse knowledge base that he draws on to deliver pragmatic and commercially orientated results, with a focus on quality of service and responsiveness.
