Daniel is a Partner and National Practice Head of Turks' Commercial team, based in the firm's Sydney office.
Daniel has more than 30 years of experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolution, with a particular focus on supporting businesses that trade on credit terms. He is widely recognised as a leading practitioner in the trade credit insurance sector and regularly advises both insured businesses and insurers on complex commercial and recovery matters.
His practice encompasses commercial disputes, debt recovery, secured and unsecured recoveries, insolvency matters, and the negotiation of commercial settlements and security arrangements.
Daniel is also recognised as an expert in the Personal Property Securities Act 2009(Cth) (PPSA), advising clients on all aspects of personal property securities, security agreements, enforcement and priority disputes.
Acting for insurers, large corporates, SMEs, trade creditors and insolvency practitioners throughout Australia, Daniel provides strategic and commercially focused advice on complex insolvency, restructuring and creditor recovery matters. He is known for delivering practical solutions that achieve commercial outcomes while effectively managing legal risk.
