Courtney specialises in life insurance and superannuation, with particular expertise in group insurance arrangements, insurance product development and policy documentation. She advises on legislative and regulatory developments affecting the industry and has extensive experience reviewing and drafting insurance policies, insurer-trustee agreements and product disclosure materials.
She acts exclusively for life insurers, superannuation trustees and financial institutions across a broad range of advisory and contentious matters. She regularly advises on life insurance and superannuation products, group insurance arrangements, death and disability insurance claims, trustee obligations and dispute resolution processes. She has also been involved in some of Australia's largest group insurance transactions and transitions, including policy documentation, takeover arrangements and insurer-trustee agreements.
Drawing on experience both in private practice and as a Group Insurance Product Manager with a leading Australian life insurer, she provides practical and commercially focused advice that reflects the legal, operational and regulatory considerations affecting insurers and trustees.
