Charles is a Consultant in Turks' Commercial team, based in the Sydney office.
Charles is a highly experienced commercial lawyer with more than 40 years' experience advising clients on commercial, insolvency, securities and administrative law matters. He provides strategic advice across a broad range of commercial and regulatory issues, drawing on extensive experience gained in private practice, firm leadership and advisory roles.
His expertise includes commercial disputes, insolvency and restructuring, securities law, regulatory matters, governance and commercial advisory work. Charles has advised government agencies, financial institutions, insolvency practitioners and corporate clients on complex legal and commercial issues, helping them navigate risk and achieve practical outcomes.
Before joining Turks in 2025, Charles held senior leadership positions within private practice, including serving as Managing Partner and a Board member of a commercial law firm. He also led the Commonwealth Government practice at his previous firm, advising on a broad range of administrative, commercial and regulatory matters.

Charles is a former lecturer with the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA), where he taught Securities Law and Ethics.
