Brooke is a Senior Associate in Turks’ General Insurance team, based in the Sydney office.
Brooke has more than 10 years’ experience acting exclusively for insurers in recovery and defended matters. Her expertise includes motor litigation, complex recovery claims, strategic defence matters and disputes involving credit hire and claims management entities. She has extensive experience preparing and conducting litigation across multiple jurisdictions and has acted in a number of significant matters involving complex defended claims and recovery actions.
She acts for major general insurers across New South Wales, Victoria and other Australian jurisdictions, providing commercial and strategic advice tailored to the objectives of each claim. Working closely with claims professionals and litigation teams, Brooke develops practical defence and recovery strategies and has extensive experience conducting proceedings in the Local and District Courts of New South Wales and the Magistrates' Court of Victoria.
Brooke is known for her strategic approach to contested motor matters and her ability to identify opportunities to minimise exposure and maximise recovery outcomes. Her experience includes successfully defending matters in their entirety and obtaining costs orders in favour of insurer clients. Clients value her practical litigation experience, attention to detail and commercially focused approach to dispute resolution.
