Brad is a Partner in Turks' Employers Liability team, based in the Sydney office.
Brad has more than 30 years’ experience as a lawyer specialising in personal injury law, with extensive expertise in complex defendant common law and work injury damages claims, as well as high volume statutory claims.
He advises a broad range of insurer clients, including scheme agents, specialised insurers, self insured employers and Treasury Managed Fund agencies, supporting them across a wide range of workplaces and operational environments. Brad has particular experience advising and representing employers of emergency workers in complex psychological injury claims, including matters before the NSW Court of Appeal and the High Court of Australia.
Brad regularly appears in the Supreme Court, District Court and the Personal Injury Commission. He is adept at focusing on clients’ specific needs, with a strong appreciation of the broader corporate objectives of large employers, government departments and local health districts.
Brad is well regarded for providing timely, pragmatic advice that carefully considers stakeholder priorities, including the effective and sensitive management of complex matters.
