Ashleigh is a Senior Associate in Turks' Employers Liability and Workplace Relations teams, based in the Newcastle office.

Ashleigh specialises in statutory workers compensation claims and advises insurers, self-insurers and employers on liability issues, litigated disputes and claims management under the New South Wales workers compensation scheme. She regularly appears before the Personal Injury Commission and providing strategic, commercially focused advice aimed to protect her clients’ interests.

Her earlier experience in workplace relations and human resources has given Ashleigh a practical understanding of workplace conduct issues, employment obligations and psychosocial risks that can arise in the context of psychological injury claims. She regularly advises on matters involving workplace conduct, performance management issues and the impact of employment issues on liability under the workers compensation scheme.

Ashleigh works closely with her clients on workers compensation and workplace conduct matters and is known for her professional, personable approach and strong client relationships. She is also a Mental Health First Aider at Turks, serving as a point of support and guidance for colleagues experiencing mental health challenges or emotional distress.
