Alex is a Special Counsel in Turks’ General Insurance team, based in the Brisbane office.
Alex has more than 7 years’ experience across motor, compulsory third party, public liability and property disputes. He has particular expertise in investigating and defending complex credit hire claims and manages contested insurance matters from early liability and quantum assessment through to hearing and resolution.
He acts for major general insurers and works closely with claims teams, technical specialists and recovery professionals to develop practical litigation and resolution strategies. Alex regularly appears in the Magistrates Court of Queensland and the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
Having worked both in-house at a major general insurer and in private practice, Alex understands the operational, financial and commercial considerations influencing claims decisions. This experience enables him to provide advice that is technically sound, responsive and aligned with insurer objectives.

Alex has been on the committee of the Australian Insurance Law Association (QLD) since 2019.
