Applications open for the 2017 ANZIIF TurksLegal Claims Scholarship

The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) and TurksLegal are pleased to announce submissions are open for the 2017 ANZIIF TurksLegal Claims Scholarship.

In its 10th year, the ANZIIF TurksLegal Claims Scholarship recognises excellence in general insurance and provides a significant career development opportunity for insurance professionals working in the general insurance industry in Australia.

To apply, entrants must submit a 2,500 word paper addressing one of the five questions found in the application form.

The winner will have the opportunity to choose one of the below major prizes:

  • an overseas conference package valued up to A$8,000, including registration to the 2018 Claims Conference and Insurance Services Expo held in Orlando, Florida, return flights, accommodation and $500 spending money; or
  • $5,000 cash and registration to the 2018 AICLA/ANZIIF Claims Convention held in Australia, including return flights and two nights’ accommodation.

The winner will also be invited to sit on the judging panel alongside senior industry leaders for the 2018 ANZIIF TurksLegal Claims Scholarship.

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • be a resident of, and based in, Australia
  • directly work in a capacity connected with general insurance.

Applications for the ANZIIF TurksLegal Claims Scholarship close at 5.00 pm (AEST) on Monday 9 October 2017, with the winner to be announced at the ANZIIF General Insurance Breakfast in Sydney on Wednesday 6 December 2017.
