Commercial Disputes & Insolvency

We are committed to resolving commercial disputes quickly, efficiently and cost effectively. Our Commercial Disputes and Insolvency team has the skills to deal with a wide range of disputes, services include:

  • Banking and Financial Services Litigation - where specialist legal services, well developed systems and precedents covering all aspects of securities enforcement, recovery litigation and related insolvency matters (including consumer and commercial credit) are needed.

  • Insolvency Actions – where the maximisation of returns in actions for and against liquidators and other insolvency administrators requires specialists in what is an increasingly complex area of law.

  • Debt Recovery – where a no nonsense, direct and quick approach is vital.

  • Major Disputes – where planning is essential to secure the best outcome. Work in this area can involve the enforcement of a commercial arrangement or brokering the exit from an unprofitable contract, navigating a way around complex trade practices problems or dealing with regulatory issues.

  • Trade Credit Insurance and Recoveries – where in addition to specialist legal skills, experience in selecting the right case to run is vital.

A commercial dispute may end up in court and sometimes the aim must be to get there as soon as you can. At other times a dispute calls for a more subtle approach. Our team focuses on nothing else but commercial disputes. We have a unique blend of people and systems to enable us to deal with large and small disputes.

Our aim is to identify the best achievable outcome and deliver it.
